With your involvement, The National Wilderness Stewardship Alliance will identify and connect established wilderness volunteer organizations, help them grow and provide tools and advice for wilderness stewardship groups just starting. We will strengthen partnerships with the Bureau of Land Management, Fish & Wildlife Service, Forest Service and the National Park Service.

NWSA will give all groups a forum to share ideas, a way to develop best methods and practices and a path to growth both individually and collectively. Partners will give NWSA the strength and experience to become a powerful voice for the wilderness stewardship community.
NWSA has set the partner membership donation at a minimum of $25. to encourage every stewardship group to join, but the hope is that organizations with more capacity, and the ability to donate more, will do so, as suggested on our membership form.

Recognizing the huge potential of a network of volunteer stewards, the Curtis & Edith Munson Foundation awarded a capacity building, matching grant to ensure NWSA's initial funding. Therefore each dollar you contribute now will be matched until the grant amount is met.
