The National Wilderness Stewardship Alliance (NWSA) Board of Directors is currently accepting nominations to fill up to 5 Board seats with 2-year terms commencing November 1, 2024. Nominations are accepted year-round and you may nominate yourself or someone else. Please familiarize yourself with NWSA’s Board Member Responsibilities before submitting your form.

The Process

All form submissions will be reviewed by NWSA’s Board Development Committee. If you are selected to move to the next stage of the consideration process, a more formal application may be requested. The formal application will include a cover letter and resume. Interviews will be conducted for candidates moved to the final consideration round. Interviews of qualified candidates will occur August-September, and the Board will make its selections and notify selected candidates in October of each year.
