Grow Wild Grant Program
NWSA's Grow Wild Grant Program supports the formation of new wilderness stewardship programs as we work to reach our goal of establishing a wilderness stewardship group for every Wilderness area in the National Wilderness Preservation System. This funding program is offered through a generous donation from The David Berolzheimer Foundation to honor life-long friend and wilderness champion, Elaine Dermody, who is a Founding Member of the National Wilderness Stewardship Alliance (NWSA).
The program is designed for:
- Start-up wilderness stewardship groups who need funds to cover costs of establishing a new organization,
- Existing wilderness stewardship organizations who need funds to expand their work into a new wilderness area, and
- Existing organizations who want to add a wilderness stewardship arm to their programs.
