As wilderness stewards, advocacy often seems like something other organizations do. Advocacy work can feel tricky for organizations who partner directly with federal land management agencies, but it isn't impossible and can be a proactive way to build long-term support and funding for your stewardship work. After all, at its core, hands-on stewardship is the truest form of advocacy. In this webinar, Bill Hodge, Chair of NWSA's new Advocacy Committee, will share the current state of play and offer tools and tactics to help you take your advocacy from on the ground stewardship to Capitol Hill.
